Partnerships to Improve the Education in Bogotá

"Shape Colombia – Aulas de Inmersión" was made possible thanks to our partnerships. The main of them is with the Mayoralty of Bogotá, through Secretaría de Educación, which facilitates our immersion into the public schools of the city. Its leader, the secretary Oscar Sánchez, talks about the importance of this initiative to impact students’ lives and to help them in the process of learning a new language.

Education has been a big challenge in Latin America and other places in development. Bringing international cooperators to the classes is a way to stimulate the children to study and get to know more about their cultures – local and global. At the same time, AIESEC is raising awareness among young people about Cultural Diversity.
