Recognized as Aulas de Inmersión (Inmersion Rooms inside the schools), the Shape Colombia Project is an initiative created in 2013 by Secretaría de Educación de Bogotá in association with AIESEC. Derived from the Local Development Plan of the city, it aims to broaden the perspectives and opportunities for the youth, manly by offering innovative, diverse and wider options of education.

During the second semester of 2013, it brought to the City 27 International Interns from 13 different nationalities to teach English or French in 21 public schools, impacting more than 10.000 kids and teenagers.
In its second edition, Shape Colombia reached more than 20.000 students from 50 different schools working with 100 cooperators from 38 countries.
At the end of 2014, the project received 200 interns and expanded its impact to 100 schools and more than 30.000 children in Bogotá.
For 2015, it looks forward to impact the same ammount of institutions and their students with another 200 international interns.
